Rethinking The Used Car Purchase Journey
One of my wife’s favorite stories goes back 25 years. She had finally saved enough to buy a car and found The One. On a freezing New Jersey night - proud, excited, and feeling grown, she waved goodbye to the “Nice Dealer” and drove off. Less than ten exits later, the car died on a major highway.
No money.
No heat.
No ride home.

To the dealer’s credit, he towed the car the next day and repaired a blown head gasket. A week later, she was back on the road, until summer arrived and she discovered the “it’ll blow snowballs” A/C as described by the salesman did not work!
